CIA operative Kate Devlin and security consultant Nick Cavanaugh get off on the wrong foot. After all, her accidental terrorist had orders to kill him. And if there’s one thing Nick can’t abide, it’s creating terrorists. 

But it turns out that Kate’s good intentions count for something. She saves his life, in more ways than one. While creating terrorists may not be a good career move, it does lead to a most unexpected outcome: love. Kate’s never been in love before, but she thinks this might go the distance.

And will they ever be able to escape the CIA? Kate may have quit the Agency, but the Agency just can’t quit her. Whenever an impossible problem arises in a foreign land, the CIA calls in Kate, Nick, and their Sandstorm family.
